The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued a permanent ban preventing five former students from accessing the university campus, citing concerns that their actions continue to pose a risk to the institution’s safety and order. The affected individuals are Bernard Boadi, Francis Tutu Atuahene, John Kelvin Kane, Roland Botwe Nsiah, and Felix Acquah.
The university indicated that although the five individuals were dismissed in 2025, they have reportedly continued to frequent the campus and engage in activities that disturb the institution’s peace and normal operations.
In an official statement released by the University Relations Office on Friday, March 13, and signed by Deputy Registrar Daniel Norris Bekoe, management emphasized that the individuals are strictly forbidden from entering or staying anywhere on the university grounds.
According to the university, the directive is part of broader efforts to protect the safety of students, staff, and the entire university community while maintaining discipline and ensuring the smooth running of academic and administrative functions.
Management also cautioned the individuals to comply with the directive, warning that any attempt to enter the campus will result in appropriate legal consequences.
KNUST further reiterated its dedication to upholding its rules and preserving a peaceful, secure, and supportive environment for teaching, learning, research, and community engagement.
